What this site is
An independent publication about step challenges, and the home of a recurring challenge we host on Steppa. Using the site means accepting these terms.
What we are not
We are not Steppa. We don’t operate the app, hold anyone’s money, process payments, verify steps, or decide results. We are not a financial institution, a licensed advisor, or a healthcare provider.
Financial risk
Challenges involve real money and real risk. You can lose your entire entry fee: for missing a day, for a sync failure, for being ill, for travelling through a time zone. Only stake money you can afford to lose entirely. Nothing here is financial advice. Paid challenges are 18+. Steppa will tell you at signup whether they are available where you are.
Health
Walking a step goal for money can push people past sensible limits. Talk to a doctor before starting a new activity programme, and stop if you’re in pain. No prize is worth an injury, and a forfeited stake is cheaper than a stress fracture.
Accuracy
We publish figures we’ve observed and results from challenges we’ve run. We try hard to be right and we correct errors openly on /receipts. Steppa’s app and terms are always the authoritative version. If this site disagrees with the app, the app wins.
Community rules
If you join our channels, /rules also applies: no side bets, no coordinating drop-outs, no reposting other members’ data without permission.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from your use of it or your participation in any challenge, including forfeited entry fees. Some places don’t allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as the law permits.
Trademarks
Steppa is a trademark of Steppa LLC and is used here only to refer to their product. We claim no rights in it and no association with them. StepBet, PaidToGo, HealthyWage and other product names belong to their owners and are used for identification and comparison.
